Teaching Methods
Based on my class observation in my cooperating teacher in SMA Negeri 1 Cangkringan, she used traditional way of teaching. My cooperating teacher discussed the topic in front and when she has a question she asks two or more students to answer the question about their topic. She also used video presentation that is related to the topic, after that she asked the students about the video. Before the class end, she asked each of her students one by one to determine if the students really understand the lesson.
Learning Materials and Innovation
Each classroom has a projector and whiteboard for the teacher to be used in teaching learning process, and every students has their own book to serve as their reference in every lesson. In the teaching learning process the teacher must be resourceful and innovative to have an appropriate teaching strategies for the different types of students.
Sources of Learning and Technology
In SMA Negeri 1 Cangkringan they also used internet at their learning sources, books for the other references and they used technology. By the used of projector, they have a presentation of work, videos, and pictures to have different teaching techniques for the learning process of the students.
Authentic Assessment
The subject that I observed is Economic Education, my cooperating teachers discussing the topic by giving some real life situation as an example that reakated to the topic. In that way Bu Tetih uses the authentic assessment as she gave an example or a situation that the students will think about the solution or by connecting the topic into real life situation. That kind of teaching approach was really admirable because of the ability of a teacher to relate the topic into real life sitation.
